Brad Johner

brad johnerAudiences first met Johner in 1988, when a partnership with his brother Ken began a 14-year-long musical success story. The Johner Brothers were named "Duo of the Year" by the Canadian Country Music Association in 1991 kicking off a string of awards. After being crowned “Entertainer of the Decade” and releasing a remarkable 26 singles from six hit albums, Ken retired from the music business in 2002. With an unparalleled dedication to his music and to his wide fan base, Brad turned solo the following year, releasing the critically acclaimed "Free" in 2003 and his Juno-nominated "Summertown Road" in 2005. Despite his multiple awards and nominations, including a 2003 Western Canadian Music Award for "Outstanding Country Album," a win at the 2004 Canadian Independent Music Awards for "Favourite Country Artist/Group," and a "Male Artist of the Year" win at the 2007 Canadian Country Music Awards, Johner remains the down to earth individual he's always been. A devoted husband and father to five sons, Brad has always maintained a level perspective. "What keeps me grounded is my family," says Brad, "My wife Rhea and my boys are the most important thing in my life. Creating and maintaining a life of normalcy for them is my number one priority".

Well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and Brad's boys have started their own brand of music. These days Brad and his boys have a constant touring schedule showcasing a wide variety of music that keeps them pushing musical boundaries and having a whole lot of fun.
